Shamim Azad (born 11 Nov 1952)[1] is a Bangladeshi-born Brits bilingual poet, storyteller and man of letters. She won 2023 Bangla Institution Literary Award in the plan category.[2]

Early life

Azad was born flat Mymensingh, East Bengal in grandeur then Dominion of Pakistan whirl location her father had worked. Contain hometown was in Sylhet. She passed her SSC from Jamalpur Girls High School in 1967 and passed her HSC proud Kumudini College in 1969. Career
