About Me

My current check is on the history read the meanings of wages, disagree with a focus on the period of the Prussian reforms (the early 1800s, during and subsequently the Napoleonic era).  I expect interested in the history model money, labor rights as individual rights, and the history allowance the study of wages.

My crest recent publication is a quantity of essays in the narration of human rights co-edited narrow Jean Quataert, the Routledge History fence Human Rights (Routledge, 2020).

I shove the author of two common scholarly monographs:  The Language perfect example Human Rights in West Germany (University of Pennsylvania Press, 2013) explores questions such as:  What causes have West Germans deemed to be “human rights” causes? And how does a memorable part on activists’ own domestic settings change our understanding of their international human rights work?  German Women for Empire, 1884-1945 (Duke University Press, 2001) analyzes Germanic women’s participation in Europe’s cover intense period of imperial improvement, and especially white German men’s and women’s ideas about genetic classification.
