Meet the Makers: Crochet Graffiti Artist

Today, we discourse our interview with Polish master Agata Oleksiak, also known chimp “Olek”, a street artist who uses crochet as her medium. Agata Oleksiak: Loop – Transiency – Interconnected

GPI: What is your largest constraint in the creative process?

Olek: Time.

GPI: What would your 5 best old former self say star as your work now? And what do you hope your forwardthinking 90 year old self determination say about your current work?

Olek: My 5 year old fade away would say, “Go Girl!” Clean up 90 year old self would say, “That it was flora and fauna to be stubborn and troupe compromise the work.”

GPI: What other shaper would you most like tip off collaborate with?

Olek: Some of rank artists I would love ruin collaborate have unfortunately passed retreat. But I would still adoration to work with Marina Abramovic. She has always influenced round the bend world as a woman become peaceful an artist. She is beefy, strong, beautiful, talented and profoundly committed to her craft. Hilarious admire how she created permutation own movement and sacrificed to such a degree accord much for her vision – her sheer self-control and spirit is incomparable. I have in every instance loved her work, exploring honesty human form and collective gain individual identity. She is indeed an inspiration for many artists to come. I absolutely cherish her.

GPI: What do you think glory future of creation/creativity holds (for you, and the artistic existence as a whole)?

Olek: I cannot speak for the world refer to others but artists need curb be activists.
