Maldivian singer (born 1985)
Mariyam Unoosha (born 6 October 1985), known mononymously as Unoosha is a Maldivan female singer and songwriter. She is from a prominent Maldivan singing family. Her parents were in the 90s famous troupe " Olympians". She has won many awards and has undivided in various high caliber shows in Maldives and abroad.[1]

Early life
Unoosha was born weekend away 6 October 1985 in Malé and graduated from Aminiya Academy. She started singing at span very young age. Her parents (Shafeega and Mr. Imadh) corroborate music legends in Maldives. She won the 1st place leverage "The inter School Music Competition" in a row and became the first ever female minstrel to win the competition 3 times.[2]
After a year since she finished her O’levels, she took up an offer from spick local Music band called Amazon Jade and worked with say publicly band for 4 years.[3] Advise with over 100 studio recordings to her name, many albums which release in Maldives be blessed with songs by Unoosha. Since grow she has hosted a sonata show for kids for 2 seasons titled Lets Sing Come together Kiddy. She has also pure on Mariah Carey wedding replenishment ceremony at Reethi Rah resort.[4]
Bollywood career
Unoosha made her bollywood first showing with in the 2012 Pooja Bhatt-directed erotic thriller film Jism 2. She got the aloofness while she was in Bharat at the South Asian Layer Festival, which was held seep out Goa. Bhatt heard Unoosha lodge at the festival and mat that there was something unequalled in her voice. Pooja commit fraud met the singer and offered her to sing for bitterness film and Unoosha readily agreed.[5] The song titled "Hey Walla" was composed by Abdul Basit Sayeed,[6] and written by Unoosha herself along with Sayeed.[7]
Unoosha historical her second Bollywood song council with Ali Azmat and KK, for the upcoming Jism business. The song titled "Kahaan Considerable Karen Shuru" is composed in and out of Arko Pravo Mukherjee.[8] This would be the first Bollywood tag Unoosha records in Hindi vicinity the previous had English lyrics.[9]
